Dr. Berkovich is a board-certified pediatrician and currently serves as the Medical Director of Telehealth for Kidz Doc Now/Pediatric Associates. Dr. Berkovich completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University and her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s. She sits on the executive committee of the AAP Section of Telehealth Care and her interests include lowering the barrier to care for kids with asthma, pediatric mental health and the use of telehealth for medically complex children. 

Dr. Jennifer Berkovich, DO, FAAP

Christine Certain, LMHC

Christine is the founder of Certain Counseling and is trained as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in evidence-based treatment of women and children.  She has been at the forefront of founding and scaling psychiatric telehealth programs for large non-profits. Christine holds an M.S. as well as an Ed.S. in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University and is Certified in Perinatal Mental Health.

Dr Harris is CEO of Laurel Health Advisors, LLC, drawing on over 25 years of experience leading research, technical assistance, and conducting both national and local evaluations focused on the use of health information technology (IT) to improve access and quality of care for underserved and vulnerable individuals. She has a PhD in public policy from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University. 

 

Yael Harris, PhD, MHS

Aaron Maguregui, CISSP

Aaron is Special Counsel at Foley & Lardner LLP, focused on regulatory professionals at state agencies for matters related to healthcare, government investigations, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory matters. As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), he engages on cybersecurity governance and programs, data privacy investigations, HIPAA /HITECH, risk management, and compliance matters.

Boyd is an experienced healthcare and software leader focused on improving outcomes through design and technology. A Silicon Valley veteran, he held executive positions with Intuit and Apple before founding the Autism Telehealth Program at the non-profit Scott Center for Autism Treatment at the Florida Institute of Technology. With SETRC, he is focused on improving access for underserved populations, pediatric telehealth, and systems interoperability.

Lisa Munro

Lisa is the Engagement Lead for the award winning 405(d) Aligning Health Care Industry Security Approaches Program within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Information Security (OIS). She is focused on providing cybersecurity and behavioral solutions that address threats to the sector.  Lisa has a decade of experience in strategic communications and cybersecurity.

 

Guy is the CIO for CommHIT located at NASA Kennedy Space Center. His expertise in Health IT (HIT) spans over 20 years, including 18 in CIO roles. He is an expert at developing and executing strategic plans, IT solutions, and vendor management. Guy is passionate about HIT and cybersecurity, especially in the rural setting, and uses his background to educate organizations about the benefits of HIT and cybersecurity planning.

Loren Nix

Loren joined the Global Partnership for Telehealth team in 2014 and serves as GPT’s Director of School-Based Telehealth. During her 14-year tenure as a school nurse, she became the first school nurse in the state of Georgia to implement a school-based telehealth program. Her practical experience as a school-based telehealth nurse puts her in a unique position to develop and implement successful telehealth programs.

 

Nick leads the award-winning 405(d) Aligning Health Care Industry Security Approaches Program within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Information Security (OIS). His diverse experience includes analytics, leading change management initiatives, and strategic planning.  He is focused on providing cybersecurity solutions in the healthcare sector.

Kendra Siler, PhD

Kendra is a nationally-recognized leader in technology and communities’ needs, digital security, information sharing, and interoperability. As President and CEO of CommHIT at NASA KSC, she focuses on the secure use of health information. She was an appointed stakeholder advisor to the White House Office of American Innovation and works in an advisory role for several federal agencies.

Lloyd is a telehealth pioneer, having led the Southeastern Telehealth Resource Center for over ten years, from a time when telehealth was a visionary concept to today’s era of explosive growth. Focused on rural and underserved communities, Lloyd is a nationally-recognized leader in telehealth technology, policy, and operations.

Evelyn Terrell, DOT, MS

Evelyn is an accomplished leader with 15+ years of progressive hospital administration and operations experience. She currently serves as the Director of Telehealth and Special Projects at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Evelyn holds a BS in Occupational Therapy, an MS in Health Services Administration, and a PhD in Occupational Therapy with a concentration in administration and practice management.
